Magazine Review While there were several appealing and informative articles in this
edition of the Black Ph.D. /Eed. D. magazine, the article I instantly
connected with was the one that addressed the question: What annoys
you and how do you react? Dr. Tracey D. Moore was quite straightforward
in expressing her concerns that our youth, young adults and the not
so young are not taking advantage of educational opportunities. I too,
share this sentiment. I have often wondered why, we have young people
not committing to or even planning goals. I have surmised this is due
in part to a lack of understanding of personal purpose. When a person,
young or old, does not understand personal purpose, abuse is inevitable.
There is no sadder scenario than that of self- abuse.read
